I'm an amateur photographer with a backlog of photos I like. This blog is for me to post a picture a day (more or less) along with selected stories of when/why I took them.

The Flatiron Building
I took this almost 11 years ago on a weekend trip to New York. It's not one of my better efforts--if I recall correctly I had to take this out the window of a cab as we were stopped at a light. Having said that, the Flatiron Building is so iconic, and so "old New York" to me, I couldn't pass up the opportunity.
I am a 42-year old runner, photographer, music junkie, foodie, and all-around funny guy who wants to live life to the fullest, and leave the planet better than he found it.

Wow... I didn't know such a building existed but there's one in Warren that looks eerily similar, albeit shorter.
I would love to exchange links! Thanks...I'm adding you to my oklapics asap.
Sue, that's too freaky! Since a lot of older cities don't have grid layouts, I'm betting there are more of these than we know...
Wornout, sounds great! I added you to my list of links also, and will come back to visit you soon.
