I really like this picture! I think you chose the perfect shutter speed to show the mass movement of people while retaining the identity of each. The bald man in the foreground also give a nice perspective and give a sense of the daunting task of making your way into the subway.
Hey thanks, Beaker! I didn't actually choose the shutter speed--took this with a point and shoot as I was walking down the stairs (I *just* made this train). I stuck the camera out in front of me, framed it a bit, and hit the shutter. I like the way it came out, though...

Ah, this photo brings back memories of my trips to Japan :-)
Yes...stuff like this is what Japan (or at least Tokyo) is all about. Tokyo is one of my favorite cities to visit and to photograph!
